David Fisher has been a professional artist in the corporate field for over 30 years. He is Honourary Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Painters and Stainers of the City of London. David produces fine art of various subjects in oils, watercolours and acrylics and also publishes prints of some of his work.

In 2006 David Fisher was awarded 'Most Popular Picture in Show' at the annual Royal Bath & West of England Show with the oil painting 'Grand Turk', the 8th time David has won this award. Click here to view David's award winning paintings.

David's oil painting 'Friend or Foe' was one of 20 finalists out of 10,000 entries to the 2003 Daily Mail 'Not the Turner Prize' competition. This painting shows Zak, a beloved family pet. Zak, a German Shepherd dog had a reputation with all visitors but particularly the milkman! This picture was exhibited in the Mall Gallery, London and can now be purchased as a Giclée print from David on paper or canvas.

David exhibits his work in various galleries throughout the West Country including First View (Stourhead) & the Yellow Moon Gallery (Somerset).

Feeling it the right time to paint the subjects close to his heart, he now draws inspiration from everyday scenes and subjects, with a view to capture and interpret the beauty and quality of light using a variety of media.
